The Council of Tajiks of Australia is a cultural, social, advocacy-oriented, and non-profit institution, established on the principles of democracy, justice, human rights, and the preservation of authentic Tajik identity.
This Counclegitimizationendent, inclusive, and unifying body that, irrespective of political, religious, regional, or gender affiliations, works toward cohesion, solidarity, and the revival of the material and spiritual capacities of the Tajik community residing in Australia.
With a spirit of moderation, collective participation, and a unified voice for justice, this institution has been created to promote human dignity, ensure the well-being and social security of Tajik families in Australia, and safeguard their cultural and human values.
The Council believes that through the expansion of cultural awareness, the documentation of human rights violations, and active participation in Australia’s civil and human rights institutions, it can be the clear and resonant voice of the Tajik community against discrimination and injustice, while preventing the legitimization of malicious actors.
