Article 36: Validity Period of the Charter, Constitution, and By-Laws

1. The Charter, Constitution, and By-Laws of the Tajik Council of Australia shall remain legally, organizationally, and administratively valid so long as the Council has not been dissolved in accordance with Article 33.

2. These instruments serve as the official foundation for all decision-making, organizational structures, and internal relations of the Council. Any amendment to these instruments shall only be possible through the legally approved process of adoption by the General Assembly, in accordance with the procedures set forth in this Constitution, and registered with the competent legal authority of the host country, particularly the State of Victoria.

Article 37: Authority to Amend and Revise the Charter and Constitution

1. Any amendment, revision, or alteration — whether partial or complete — to the Charter and Constitution of the Tajik Council of Australia falls exclusively within the authority of the General Assembly. No other organ of the Council, whether the Central Council, Executive Board, or Committees, shall be authorized to enact such amendments.

2. An amendment shall only be valid and enforceable if:
It has been formally included in the agenda of the General Assembly;
It is reviewed and voted upon with the participation of at least two-thirds (⅔) of the official members of the General Assembly;
It is approved by a vote of no less than three-quarters (75%) of the members present.

3. This Constitution, comprising Eight chapters and thirty seven articles, shall become legally valid and enforceable upon its adoption by the General Assembly and registration with the competent legal authority of Australia, particularly the State of Victoria.

4. All views and proposals submitted by members of the General Assembly during the amendment process shall be given full consideration, and once approved, shall be binding.
