Article 1: Respect for Applicable Laws
This Constitution is founded on the principles enshrined in the Charter of the United Nations, the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and in full compliance with the laws of Australia, particularly the laws of the State of Victoria.
The official name of this institution is “Tajik Council of Australia,” hereinafter referred to as “the Council.”
Article 2: Membership Conditions
Every Tajik individual residing in Australia, regardless of political, religious, gender, or social affiliation, who has completed the age of 18, may be accepted as a member of the Tajik Council of Australia, provided they accept the provisions of this Constitution and its Charter of Principles.
Article 3: Organizational Independence
The Council is an independent, non-political, and non-partisan institution. It is not affiliated with any group, party, political organization, governmental body, or political figure.
The Council functions as a coordinating structure for the cultural, social, and humanitarian activities of the Tajik community in Australia.
Article 4: Headquarters
The headquarters of the Tajik Council of Australia shall be located in Melbourne, Victoria.
The Council may, as needed and with the approval of the Executive Board, establish branches and expand its activities in other states of Australia and regions within the State of Victoria.
